What do I do with the crystals?

To 'use' or 'experience' the crystals' properties, you can hold them, carry them with you (in your pocket, on a key chain), wear them as a necklace, meditate with them, keep them in your office or sleeping space; whatever feels comfortable for you. Crystals can also bring a warm feeling to your space and they can be decorative too!

What is the difference between a mineral and a crystal?

Often times people tend to use "mineral" and "crystal" interchangeably, but they are not the same; structurally speaking. A 'crystal' refers to minerals that are formed into a crystalline structure (geometric inorganic structure) that we are familiar with when we think "crystal". Not all minerals are crystals.

Is a 'rock' a crystal or a mineral?

Neither! A rock can be made of up igneous (melted rock deep inside earth), sedimentary (layers of sand, dead plants and animals), and metamorphic (rocks changed by pressure and/or heat) with no specific chemical composition.

What is so unique about crystals, minerals and fossils?

No two specimens are the same; we think that is pretty neat and unique! All crystals, minerals and fossils take millions of years to form but they can all form in different ways depending on where they are in the world. When we think of fossils, the first thing that come to mind is a dinosaur. Fossils can also be made up of fossilized lava or plant matter too!

Why are some crystals so expensive versus others?

We often get asked this question. It depends on the location the crystal is formed. For example, if a specific type of crystal is found in multiple areas of the world, it tends to be cheaper than a crystal only mined in one location. The quality of the crystal on top of the rarity of the crystal affect the pricing quite a bit.
